Wishlist Wednesday #28

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop where we will post about one book per week that has been on our wishlist for some time, or just added (it's entirely up to you), that we can't wait to get off the wishlist and onto our wonderful shelves. This is hosted by Pen to Paper.

I am wishing for......

Die For Me by Amy Plum
Description from Amazon:
In the City of Lights, two star-crossed lovers battle a fate that is destined to tear them apart again and again for eternity.

When Kate Mercier's parents die in a tragic car accident, she leaves her life--and memories--behind to live with her grandparents in Paris. For Kate, the only way to survive her pain is escaping into the world of books and Parisian art. Until she meets Vincent.

Mysterious, charming, and devastatingly handsome, Vincent threatens to melt the ice around Kate's guarded heart with just his smile. As she begins to fall in love with Vincent, Kate discovers that he's a revenant--an undead being whose fate forces him to sacrifice himself over and over again to save the lives of others. Vincent and those like him are bound in a centuries-old war against a group of evil revenants who exist only to murder and betray. Kate soon realizes that if she follows her heart, she may never be safe again.

In this incandescent debut, newcomer Amy Plum has created a powerful paranormal mythology with immortal revenants. The Paris setting comes enchantingly alive as a relentless struggle between good and evil takes place in its streets. Rich with romance, atmosphere, and thrills, Die for Me will leave readers breathlessly awaiting its sequel.

Ok, I gotta say, the cover is what really drew me to this book. I love great covers! But after reading the description, I can't wait to dive in.  Seems like it has everything, tragedy, romance, action. I've seen lots of raving reviews too. I hope to have this one off my wish list soon!

  2. You commented on my review of Half-Blood on Pages of Forbidden Love. I know you said in the comment you were a little worried because my review talks about the similarities to Dark Hunters by Sherilyn Kenyon but all of that goes away in the second book Pure. Half-Blood is like Dark Hunters in certain ways but the story really moves past this in the second book, which was amazing, in my top of 2012 to be sure. :)

Thanks for commenting on my blog.

  5. This book was amazing. What I liked most was that it isn't a paranormal entity that has been talked about before. Pick it up as soon as you get the chance!! I highly recommend it!!!!
