Do you write full time? If not, what do you do to bring home the bacon?
No, I wish! So, to bring home the bacon, and ice cream, I work two jobs in addition to my writing...I am a cosmetologist, a hairstylist, and I also work in a library as a clerk.

How long have you been writing?
I have been writing since the sixth grade. I had a wonderful English teacher who made us write a ton in her class, then in eighth grade the teacher was all about stories, in that grade was when we read the classic books most schools have you read, Number the Stars, The Giver, 1984, etc.. She then had each student pick one story that they had wrote during the year then she bound them all together. That was when I really started writing and poetry is what I started with. Since then my mom has been my biggest sheerleader always asking me to write a poem for this or that, she is the best!

Do you have plans for more books in the future?
I definitely do have plans for more books. Juniper's Princess is the first in the Angel Crest Series, and I am close to being done with book two as we speak! I even have ideas for books after I am done with the AC Series!

What is your favorite scene from the book? (If you can without spoilers)
I had so much fun writing this between Jaiden and Dani, I could just see it so vividly and I would say it is my favorite scene...
I sigh, wondering how she really knows that we would be safe, and does that include my family? Not knowing what else to say or do, I turn towards my kitchen and decide to keep myself busy. I turn the oven on to pre-heat, and focus my attention on what I will need.
I start pulling things out of cupboards and the refrigerator to bake cookies. I could read, but I feel like my mind won ’t settle enough to enjoy a book. As I start mixing ingredients together in a bowl I let my mind go over the things I have learned. I am the next Queen, my birth mother was murdered and the Zoku are fighting a war, one that has been on going for 26 years. Just as everything is feeling overwhelming I feel someone behind me.
“Oh, ” I breathe as I spin and find Jaiden standing directly behind me. He flicks his eyes to the bowl of mixed ingredients then back to my eyes.
“What are you making? ” he asks, sounding curious. I search his face to see if he is hurt by my nervousness earlier.
“Ah, cookies, ” I say softly, trying to remember how to breathe.
“Would you like some help? ” he asks softly, settling his hands on my waist lightly.
“Do you know how to bake? ” I ask, feeling the heat of his hands spread from my waist to warm the rest of me.
He smiles wickedly and nods his head slowly, then his eyes wander from my eyes to my lips and they hold, looking as if they will gaze there forever.
“When we were at the salon, and I first met you, I wanted to kiss you, ” he says almost as if to himself. “I still want to every time I see you, do you want me to kiss you? ” he asks softly, leaning in a bit forcing me against the counter top, the cookies forgotten.
I watch as Jaiden leans in to whisper in my ear, “do you want me to kiss you Daniah? ” His lips brush up against my ear then he leans his cheek against mine, pressing his face into the side of my neck. I can ’t stop the shudder and my eyes flutter closed.
On a shaky breath I answer him honestly, “yes, I do want you to kiss me. ”
He slowly leans back to press his lips against my jaw, then the corner of my mouth, then directly on my lips.
His kiss is gentle, his lips soft and warm against my own. As he moves his lips against mine, I unconsciously reach up to grip his hair with my fists. I need his touch and I want to be closer. As I bring his face closer to mine he moans deep in his throat and I feel his tongue sweep across my lower lip. I open willingly and let him enter me on a sigh. He sweeps his tongue in, tangling it with mine and he deepens the kiss, leaning me back over the counter more and I tug him even closer. He licks everywhere in my mouth as if he can ’t get enough. I give back in kind, sucking his bottom lip into my mouth then lightly biting down on it then caressing it to soothe.
He growls and reaches his arms around me, sliding them up my back to bring me even closer. My breasts are flush against his chest now and I feel every breath he takes. I leave one of my hands in his hair then let the other trail down to his waist and work my way under his shirt and over his chest that I waxed not more than a few days ago. I feel more than hear his moan and I smile against his mouth as I revel in the feel of his muscles, sliding my hand across his nipple, feeling his chest expand as he sucks in a deep breath.
Just as Jaiden works his hand up the back of my shirt the oven next to us lets out three shrill beeps, letting me know it is at the correct temperature for baking. I jump at the sound and break the connection between our lips, panting. Jaiden leans his forehead against mine, breathing just as hard as I am. My one hand is still against his bare chest and the other in his hair. I slowly force my hand to release the grip I have on his hair and slide it down to his neck.
Jaiden gives what seems to be an involuntary moan and then lets out a sigh, reluctantly leaning back from me a bit.

Dream cast, this is hard! I never really thought of it while i was writing, and I don't watch as many movies as I used to, so it is hard to find actors who match up, but I do have a few in mind so here I go...

Tell us one thing about you that most people would be surprised to know.
I would say the one thing that may surprise people is that I am not shy exactly, but shy. I really dislike being the center of attention, so you get me in large-ish groups I tend to freak a slight bit. One on one, I'm fine, but anything above say 5 and I start to look for an exit. ;)

When you are not writing what do you enjoy doing the most?
I would say reading, that is my number one passion next to writing, I think everyone should read what they love, that way they can, for a short time, live in other worlds, meet other characters, make new friends, and learn new things.
