Thanks to a magical transplant from an inter-dimensional enforcer, Hailey Parrish can transform into a hawk. I really liked the previous books in this series but I LOVE this one. All the books are well written but this one seemed to have a unique voice. Hailey, Alex and Sebastian are recovering from the last mission and knee deep in another when we meet them again. It seems some psycho has been killing people, dismembering them and leaving a trail of body parts in his wake. How will the trio overcome this latest threat? With a little help from man's best friend.
I loved that the story was about solving the mystery and not about the romance. Don't get me wrong, I love the romance between Hailey and Alex but that isn't the main focus of the story. I enjoy the back and forth between Hailey and Sebastian and found myself chuckling quite a few times. Of course our trio of heroes were triumphant once again, but I'm not so sure the threat is gone. I can't wait to see what is going to happen in book 4!
