Don't you just love the cover?
Blurb from the book

Arvon knows he must slay Wrey to keep his secret safe from those who hunt him. Each hour his enemies stalk closer, ready to kill.
Can Wrey’s powers of nature and spirit help her survive the yearning and dangerous Arvon and the tide of peril he brings with him? Or will an opportunistic hitman take advantage of them both?
Interview with Raven
What type of music do you listen to? - Mm All
sorts of music from country to rap, hard rock to R&B. It really depends on
my mood.
Do you have any hidden talents? - I have an
anti-talent, does that count? I've tried to keep indoor plants alive but, it
seems, I have a black thumb with indoor plants. Though I can grow almost
anything outside.
What is one book you could read over and over? -
Watchers by Dean R. Koontz, love that story!
Is there an author or book that inspired you to
become a writer? - All of them. My desk is set amidst floor to ceiling
bookshelves lined with books of assorted genres and non-fiction a like. Each
one of them inspires me and every time I look at the rows of spines it's like a
shot in the arm, the I can do this!
What do you do in your free time? - I
love gardening. My husband and often co-author, Lain and I are creating a
gothic cemetery this year, full of berry bushes and herbs. I also like target
shooting - bow and pistol - and reading, voracious reading!
How do reviews, good or bad, affect you? - Good reviews send
me flying up to cloud nine or above! It's the best thing in the world to know
you've created a wonderful story that the reader enjoyed or that it touched
them in some way. I'd love to say the bad ones don't but I'd be lying. However,
I've learned to find the kernels of wisdom in them and strive to continually
improve my art.
When writing, do you plot and organize, or do you write then
fit it all together? - I'm a plotter. I get the general plot down and then
organize it on 3x5 cards and break those down into chapters before I put finger
to keyboard.
What is one thing you absolutely need while writing? - Quiet!
I get easily distracted by noise.
I really appreciate you taking time from your schedule to
answer these questions. - Thank you for having me here,
appreciate it :)

Oh I love the interview! And the book cover!
ReplyDeleteIt looked something like a horror flick to me at first, I think it's one of the best cover I've ever seen. *Love at first sight*
Thanks for the great blurb and interview! Will be adding this to my TBR list!
Natasha @ Dreamland Teenage Fantasy
Thanks Natasha!
ReplyDeleteWhen the publisher sent that cover over we were so pleased with it. *hugs it*
Primal does have some dark elements to it, okay a lot, but it's primarily urban fantasy with saucy romance :)
That cover is as disturbing as it is enthralling.
ReplyDeleteThat cover is . . . fascinating. I'm curious about this book just from that alone. Of course, you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover.
