My Review
Ok, I loved this book, but I really wanted to reach into my Kindle and beat the ever loving crap out of Ember. I liked her in the first book, but this one, UGH! What Bo did, wasn't even that bad, put your big girl panties on and deal with it! And, I didn't care for Adrian, but she totally did him wrong too! I was so happy when Monica finally told her to "grow up" and get on with it! Regan was her voice of reason, and I loved him! She finally comes to her senses, Thank GOD, and redeems herself. 

This book was an emotional roller coaster and had me ugly crying, but I loved every minute of it! I read this book and the first book (Ten Perfect Days) in 2 days. I don't usually read that fast, but I couldn't put them down. I had to know Bo was going to be ok! If you like angst, drama and steam, you will love this book! I LOVED IT!

Excerpt

Before he can respond, the bartender takes the stage and announces Bo. My fingers tingle and I feel slightly dizzy. I notice that Rae is staring at me and am thankful that Regan isn’t. I tilt my chin to the stage to somehow reassure her that everything’s fine. Bo comes out wearing black jeans and a green t-shirt. The green t-shirt he told me reminded him of my eyes. I swallow hard as he sits on the stool and, without saying a word, starts strumming.

      Every feeling from the first night I heard him play flies through me like a drunken seagull. I take several deep breaths as he makes his way through his original work, praying that what I’m feeling isn’t regret. The strings, his fingers, the warm bourbon tone kissing the microphone; they’re all lulling me into his presence, his being.

I started writing poetry long before writing fiction. I firmly believe Poetry is a solid foundation for all other forms of writing. It taught me that a single word can make or break the world.
