My Review

Demons and spiders and gnomes, does it get any creepier?! Celeste really goes through some things after losing not one but two important people in her life. Cue tears!  Rowan really steps up and shows another side of himself! Keni, the fashonista, goes goth and Grams doing jello shots while stuffing singles into a strippers speedo, really, what more do we need?  Well, get ready for some major things to happen. New threats surface everyday. Sacrifice was funny, heart crushing and thrilling all at the same time. And it ends with a heck of a cliff hanger. The kind that makes you wanna throw yourself on the floor kicking and screaming! I CANNOT WAIT to find out what comes next! This is the best so far in the Gryphon Series!

Celeste Garrett was a stereotypical middle child; often overlooked thanks to her superjock big brother, and shining star little sister. Her goal was to go off to college and turn her love of sketching into a career as an art teacher. But fate intervened—as it so enjoys doing. Soon, Celeste’s thoughts are no longer her own. Her body is now a receptacle of a mythical creature known as a gryphon. He will use her as his warrior on earth to defeat a demonic army hell bent on tearing down the gates to the Spirit World. Suddenly, this awkward teen finds herself capable of the impossible. With her brother and sister by her side they must fend off wave after wave of demonic onslaught.

Is a normal life even possible in the midst of all this? Not likely when your crush turns out to be infected with Titan blood—a malicious form of demon that can control the elements. Not to mention that randy pirate that can control her mind with a simple touch that keeps trailing her. Oh and don’t forget the Dark Army Glee Club—sure, they’re evil but they can harmonize like no other.
