Review ~ The Siren by Tiffany Reisz

The Siren is a modern-day retelling of My Fair Lady with uptight English literary fiction editor Zachary Easton as an unwilling Professor Higgins and well-known wild child Nora Sutherlin as his erotica-writing Eliza Doolittle. Zach only has six weeks left at Royal House New York before he heads to Los Angeles to take over as Chief Managing Editor at Royal West. When his boss orders him to help Nora Sutherlin rewrite her latest novel, Zach agrees to work with her only if he is given complete control over the fate of her book. If Nora doesn’t rewrite it to his satisfaction in six weeks, Royal won’t publish it.

My Review
After reading all the great reviews, I knew this was gonna be a good book. Nora was a kick ass chick that took nothing from no one! And she had a great chemistry with all of the other characters. I fell in love with Nora, Zach and Wes. The back and forth between Nora and Zach was awesome. Wes, I wanted to protect him so much, he was a total sweet heart. I even came to like King. S.....well, I never liked him, but there were moments I could see what Nora saw in him. There weren't many OMG moments, but one that stands out in mind is when we find out about S. Then came the ending, which broke my heart for so many reasons. I wanted to cry and scream and throw things.

******************SPOILER ALERT*****************
Do not read this part if you don't want the ending spoiled. If you want to read it, take your mouse and hightlight below the stars!

I hated that she went back to Soren in the end. I liked her kicking ass. I didn't like her as a submissive at all. But, it was an interesting turn for Reisz to take. She's a Domme in the beginning and goes back to being a sub. I just hated seeing her so meek after all she'd been through. And then he put her in the hospital! Made me hate Soren even more!

Great Book!
