I have a love/hate relationship with Marcus. I knew he was a hard man, but wow. And Katia, I liked her and felt bad for her but at the same time, I was wondering when she was going to get a backbone. Well, she found it at the end. Although it took her heart to shatter to find it. There were moments when Marcus would show a glimpse of a soft side that would make my heart melt, but then he would flip and become an asshole again. Katia is a means to an end for him. He may start to feel something for her but by then the damage is done.
Katia is over worked, under paid and in need of a good lay. This is were Marcus comes in. Katia realizes he is dangerous to her heart so she has a great night of passion and plans on never looking back. But Marcus can't let that happen, he needs her. She begs him to choose someone else, she has too much going on in her life but Marcus won't stop until he has her. In spite of knowing he is not good for her, her heart goes and falls for him. Just as he had planned.
This book had me captured until the end...... then I was ready to throw my kindle. How could you Bella Jewel? How could you just stop right there? Don't you know what you would do to your readers by leaving it right there? I need to know what happens like NOW! I can't wait to see what happens next!
